Saturday, February 15, found our BMCHS Key Club with a strong showing – 20 members – at the Key Club International Zone E Spring Rally. It was held at Keiser University in Tampa. The usual ceremonies took place and workshops were held on a variety of topics such as: “Organizing Your Life,” “Public Speaking,” and “Zero Stress.” At the closing session, it was announced that the BMCHS Key Club, from the smallest high school in the state, raised the most funds for the Eliminate Project – the goal being to eliminate Maternal-Neonatal Tetanus from all countries in the world. The prize for raising the most funds was for our President, Katie Pioszak, to throw a pie in the face of the outgoing Lieutenant Governor, Michael
Risola. Katie obliged with her usual aplomb. We need to be proud of our BMCHS Key Club and its efforts and accomplishments!!! Go BMCHS Key Club!
