The Fall Sports season is winding down, and the Winter Sports are just getting started. Here is a brief recap and look ahead.

The Golf team wrapped another strong season. Sophomore Brooke Dalton qualified for the FHSAA Regionals and Coach Globokar said the team had some of the best scores in a few years. The next few years should bring even more improvment.

The Swim Team set numerous records this year and the Boys send 2 relay teams and an individual to the FHSAA Regionals. Senior Casey Bauer broke nearly every Boys Swim record this and the Relay team of Casey Bauer, Matt Jones, Gabe Pabon-Kozee, and Michael Arato had strong showings at Regionals leading the team to an overall 16th place finish.

The Cross Country Team made it’s return to Bishop this year, and although small, Coach Williams was pleased with the work and effort of the runners. Although no runners made it to Regionals this year, Coach Williams has big plans for the future of this team.

The JV and Varsity Volleyball Teams had great seasons. The Varsity team won the BMCHS Invitational, Finished Third in the Anclote Invitational, were District Runner-ups, and Regional Semi-Finalists. The team has, and will continue to receive many awards and accolades as the season winds down so keep an eye on the newspapers and websites for news on that.

The Football Team is the lone fall sport still active, along with the Cheerleaders. The teams will be in action this weekend in the Homecoming Game. 7:30 Kickoff vs. Keswick Christian. It is also Senior night!!
